Who we are
Dynamic Women for Children is a community-based non-profit organisation located in Kameelfontein, Pretoria, dedicated to the holistic care and development of vulnerable and underprivileged children. Our focus extends across all dimensions of a child’s life physical, emotional, social, and educational with the aim of breaking the cycle of poverty and trauma through early intervention, empowerment, and consistent care.

Our Vision
A South-Africa where every child, regardless of their background, grows up in a nurturing environment with the tools, support, and love they need to thrive. We envision a future where cycles of poverty and trauma are broken, and empowered, resilient children rise to become compassionate, capable leaders who uplift themselves,their communities and transform society for generations to come.

Organisational Background
Dynamic Women for Children (DWFC) was founded in 2008 in response to the urgent needs of vulnerable children living in informal settlements in and around the Kameeldrift-East and Kameelfontein areas. What began as a volunteer-driven outreach initiative quickly grew into a structured programme focused on holistic child development and community upliftment.
On 1 October 2012, DWFC took a major step forward by opening the Dynamic Women for Children Private Care Centre, located adjacent to Laerskool Kameelfontein. This marked the beginning of a dedicated space where children could receive consistent care, educational support, counselling, and life-skills development in a safe and nurturing environment.
