DWFC Private Care Centre
The Dynamic Women for Children Private Care Centre is located adjacent to Laerskool Kameelfontein and was established in response to the growing needs of vulnerable children in the surrounding informal settlements and community
Initially created to provide a safe space where children could receive a nutritious meal, complete their homework, and enjoy supervised play, the centre soon evolved as deeper needs became evident.
It became clear that one meal per day was not enough. Many of the children arrived at school hungry and returned home to limited or no food. Over the past decade, the centre has grown into a comprehensive care facility that provides not only three balanced meals daily but also holistic support that includes physical care, emotional well-being, and academic assistance meeting the daily needs of each child with compassion and consistency.
Why we started the Care Centre
The purpose of the Dynamic Woman for Children Private Care centre is to provide holistic daily care for underprivileged children, addressing their basic needs and more in a nurturing, faith-based environment. The project focuses on the child’s physical, educational, and emotional well-being to equip them with the foundation needed to break cycles of poverty and thrive in life.
