Climb 2 Care
After the transformative Cape2Care 2024 journey, Marlien Cronje felt a deep desire stirring in her heart—to create greater awareness of the real, everyday challenges affecting children across South Africa. This calling led to the birth of Climb2Care, a symbolic project designed to physically represent the very heart of Dynamic Women for Children’s (DWFC) mission.
Climb2Care became a powerful metaphor: each failing factor that affects our children and threatens their future is a mountain to be climbed. The DWFC structure, developed and refined over 17 years, is the roadmap—offering guidance, support, and hope with every step. Each climb mirrors the journey of healing and rebuilding, ultimately leading to the breathtaking summit: raising children who won’t have to recover from their childhoods.
To bring this vision to life, a group of five dynamic women summited Mount Kilimanjaro on October 28, 2024, not just as a physical feat, but as a declaration—to shine a light on the power and necessity of the DWFC structure.
Climb2Care is not just an awareness campaign; it marks the beginning of a new chapter. Through this initiative, DWFC seeks to carry its life-changing structure across South Africa, with DWFC Kameelfontein Care Centre as the first step in this broader mission. The goal: to provide children across the country with real opportunities to heal, grow, and rise into healthy adults equipped to lead purpose-driven lives.
